Langer Family Photo Shoot

Well, with the holidays, we had so many shoots and we didn’t have time to blog them all, so I thought I would try to catch up a bit! This family was so fun to photograph. Having a daughter roughly the same age as the younger of their sons, we were mildly shocked at the differences between boys and girls. We thought we had a pretty rambunctious and hyper little girl, but now know better. Little boys are a whole different breed! The boys were a crack up to watch. They would rough-house and roll around on the ground… bang heads, whatever –no tears, just laughter. They were a riot — which made the shoot that much more fun to photograph!

One of the things we love about family photography is being able to capture the family as they truly are. Having everyone dog-pile on dad and watching the natural love and laughter shine through. Those are the kinds of memories that these kids & their parents are going to remember forever.

Jara’s Pregnancy Photo Shoot

We had a lot of fun doing Jara’s maternity session. You may remember Little Luke — this family is not new to our blog and have made a few appearances before! Jara was up for any kind of shoot, so we thought we would go play a bit with an urban location and then off to a gorgeous park with hills and a lake. We found lots of new places that we loved and are looking forward to going back to these locations to play some more!

Jara was awesome. I love that we were able to ask an 8 month pregnant woman to climb up a rocky hill and she didn’t think twice about doing it joyfully! Anything for a cool shot! … wouldn’t a bride in a wedding dress look really dramatic in this location! We’ll have to definitely do that at some point. Anyone up for it?

Yeah !!! I love them… If I were doing my wedding again… I woudl love to do a shot on that hill.

Cutest grandson ever. The couple ain’t bad either. The hillside shots are great. How do I buy copies?
